The service of manual loading and unloading of Oversized and Overweight cargo is a unique profession only in Vietnam. The work is done in the condition that the construction site is narrow or the obstacles in space are too low to be loaded and unloaded by mechanical equipment.
Transco has moved, manually loaded and unloaded hundreds of transformers for 110kV, 220kV, 500kV substations nationwide. Especially, manually lifting and lowering the 105MVA transformer weighing 120 tons to a depth (negative) -7.2m at the transformer station of Ninh Binh thermal power plant and manually lifting the 63MVA transformer weighing 98 tons to the high operating platform +4 ,3m at Tay Ho 110kV substation – Hanoi.
